Weekend wayang kulit

The weather's turning colder and colder this few days.... urghh~ not anticipating the winter AT ALL.
=_____=

By the way, had a wayang kulit show at the Queen Victoria museum this afternoon.
and.... how should I put this ehh?...ermmm....
It reminded me the cultural stuffs in Malaysia. It's such a shame that we  have never really look into each others' culture despite living in a country which has a rich ethnicity and cultural background.

Basically, the wayang kulit tells about a prince trying to save the princess and of course, with ultraman-beating-monster kind of arrangement (means typical arrangement lah). Out of 100%, I only manage to comprehend like 5% of the entire shadow puppet show. When the puppeteer starts singing, the only thing I could do is stare at the screen....haha. Knowing Bahasa only help when the performers announce the song title eg. 'Mimpi" etc, and when they conversed in English. But I still enjoy it pretty much, just like the local school kids beside me.

In a way, it brought me back to my childhood, where my grandpa and aunties walked us to a field near my old house to watch a Chinese opera (not HK Soap Opera!). Each and everyone of us will be holding tightly to our very own 'bangku' (small chair),  as if we wil never live missing the show.
But, I don't think family nowadays still doing it. =(

Okay, back to the 'wayang kulit' case.
The play was made up from a combination of local Tasmanians, Indonesian PR and students. That's my first time seeing an AngMo playing sets of gong! and of course, my very first time enjoying a live shadow puppet show.
When I was small, I use to have nightmare with the Chinese puppet show.... maybe too much of horror movie like 'Child's Play'.

FORGOTTEN MY DAMN CAMERA!!!

But, at least I got a small part of the show on my not-so-smart nokia XD

BERSIH 3.0

It's THE DAY, which was supposed to be the day for the rakyat to speak out loud in silence.
Overall, the event was a success
(especially those held overseas).

But why is the one in our capital being the WORST?
Yellow coloured shirt turning into a blood-stained shirt is not something that we the rakyat wanted to see.
Sigh.... politics.
Why is the one back home being the worst?
Is that the act of the present government to create chaos among the supporters so that there won't be one in future?
Or the opposition was pulling up a show just to amplify the negative side of our currently ruling  party?

Oh politics.... it's a dirty game. X(
No body can be trusted, but we'll still need a stand.

What can the people do when they can only choose a side that they suspect less?

Confused.....

Some updates

It rained half an hour ago, and now.... kind of chilly. =____=
\PERFECT WEATHER TO CUDDLE UNDER MY QUILT AND BECOME A PIG!

I feel less stressful when it rains.
It somehow reminds me of home,
but at the same time reminding me that I'm away from home.
Why?  Coz it rarely rains in Tassie, everydrop is precious.
When it rains, it's too cold for the water vapour to fill up the air and make the surrounding smell like how it usually smell in the tropics. One of my African friend told me once that the thing he miss the most in Africa is the small after a heavy downpour. I'm totally in that!

Well, enough of the crap.
Remember I said about my Easter trip?
There you go, some brief updates.

Part 1: North West/West Tasmania roadtrip with classmate
People might say 外国的月亮比较圆 "Moon's rounder overseas"
but to me, the blue sky here has never fail to amaze me
(despite already being here for years)

Another thing you can be sure you will get in Tassie is uncertain weather....
Now you see the sun, now you don't...duh~

with the whole gang! all architecture student and 1 interior

A long and time consuming journey

Finally, we reached our destination!
The Dismal Swamp

Jackie - Singaporean sleeping beauty with a palm-size Samsung tablet

Justin - Paparazzi imported from HongKong.....
He has a MASSIVE camera lens! SERIOUSLY!

Tommy - the new comer from KKinabalu!

Raging beach or bitch? *chuckles*

I  saw my hearts

Hyundai - not a comfort car for long journey

PART 2: Picnic at Bridport with Kak Sal & family
Again, the blue blue sky =D

Kak Sal's son, KAWAII!!! >_

Sitting by the sea

Stop the world

Just finished dinner and had some really good fish dish (of course I cooked!)
Nyonya Sambal steamed Wrasse (one of the commonly caught fish by line)
and Lemon and Chilli (thai style). I have forgotten when's the last time I ate fish (fish N chip ain't a proper fish meal! typical Asian...haha).

Well, almost the end of our easter break and going to have a road trip with few classmates on the day just before uni starts again! XO *will update about that if time permits =P*

Random...random...random.....

Let my media player run on shuffling mode and this song was played

"Stop the World" - Matthew West

He sings mostly Christian and country songs. (from what I noticed)
I like particularly from 4min30s onwards, where he sings with his daughter. So KAWAIII!
"Oh mummy, Lulu loves you..."
It somehow reminded me of a mandarin song, quite an old song though.

齐豫《女人与小孩》 which my mum used to listen.

Kids' voice can be very soothing (provided that they don't scream and run around). haha....
WTH....

chao~

显。。。

别人有民主,我们也有民主;

别人有自由,我们也有自由;

3rd March

No idea why I used the date as the title.... well, maybe it's almost holiday! Even though it's just a week holiday, I'm really still really looking forward to it. The only bad thing is having an assignment deal less than a  week later. Hmm.... Not going to care too much, no matter what, the point of having a break is to prepare oneself for the upcoming challenge...haha... excuse~

Still pondering whether I should take winter course... which is going to take up almost all of my winter break. Or keep it for semester 2, and have a real get away. =S

The weather is not getting too cold yet.... but certainly can imagine it.
What should I do during the break? Can't go to the mainland D= First thought of going to Adelaide.....urgh~ sad case. Well, Tassie still have lots to offer, so not worrying about that.

Seriously what the phuck's going on?
haha....

haha.... geli!

Tomorrow's last day of school before eater break, yeah!
