For the next day of our trip, we woke up in another freezing morning....as always, and headed straight to Salamanca Market. If you been to Hobart, you sure will be informed about this 'Salamanca Market'. It's a similar to those at the Petaling Street or 茨厂街。Just that the weather here is colder and it's way~ cleaner and tidier than Petaling Street.
Eventhough I'm abit disappointed of the not so local market which is kind of influenced by tourism element, the market is still quite 'friendly' and cheerful. (refer to the video below)
Generally, those who know me will know that shopping is not my favourite..... I like to eat.....
Flowers anybody?

and shit! like a PIG! XD
The first victim that was chosen to be broken down by my amylase is a pack of fried mushrooms. They tasted so nice until I forgotten to take a photo of the food. (It means the food below are not actually that yummy....who cares? As long as they are eadible X)
Second victim is this fruit donut. It has a crispy outer layer with a soft and tender inner which tasted like ....hmmm....... whole meal bread and sultanas. WTH... their 'fruit' refers to 'sultanas' and 'sultanas' only....DAMN..... If I open another stall besides them, I would sell one with sultanas, bananas, apricot, apples, pineapples, mangoes, durian, mangosteen, lemon etc... haha
which will eventually turn out to taste like a ball of shit... Anyone want to pre-oder?
Third victim: Dried straberries flatted into a semi-circle shape. It tasted like 山楂饼 aka jeruk. The sourness manage to overpower the sweetness at a minimal level, which is just nice!
Last victim: Baked spuds aka baked potatoes. I liked this the most among all the food I tasted. It's basically 2 huge baked potatoes, topped with coleslaw, sourcream, cheese, bacon, some pepper and salt. The lady who made this was very friendly and I asked her to give me some extra cheese and coleslaw.... YumYum!
There're also some band performing at the market. It added a sense of 'Scottish-ness" to the market. They reminded me of the movie "Made of Honour".
Later we headed on to our next destination - Port Arthur, which is literally locating at the almost-end of Tasmanian mainland.
Below are some pictures when we're on our way:
The entrance to the historical sites of Port Arthur cost us AUD$ 25...... please don't convert... (T_T)
The entrance ticket also included a shot cruise around the Port, and we were introduced to the cemetery of the convicts. The island I'm referring to is the island above, NICE right? XD
Here comes some info about this historical site. It's one of the premier prisons in Australia. At the same time, it kept only male convicts. Doesn't it sound gay ?
Enjoy the video of Salamanca market. "When the sea turned calm, you can see a huge green spot under the boat....... "
CHOW!
